Music Video Question Explain how representations in music videos are chosen to promote the artist(s). Massive Attack: Unfinished Symphony In the music video, people are represented as real life characters which creates a realistic element to the video. For example, the teenage gang which are shown on the streets is a real location with real life people who are not characters. In the background of the music video, Daddy G and his son are following Shara as they walk, this shows a more everyday aspect as the band appears amongst others they look like normal everyday people. 3D comes from a phone box and we see Mushroom too. People of different social class , ethnicity and background are shown in the music video to represent different people in everyday life which makes it more realistic. The song: 'Unfinished Sympathy' by Massive Attack is about when your life feels as if it's stopped because of a heartbreak however, life goes on which is presented on the street Shara Nelson walks on.   The song: 'Burn The Witch' by Radiohead is about raising awareness about Europe's refugee crisis and the blaming of different people such as Muslims and all the negativity. It's mainly about a man who is given a tour of a picture-perfect town in which the residents do unspeakably creepy and violent things to each other. 2. What message or messages do they convey to the audience?
